The Victims of Crime Helpline is interpreter friendly.
To get an interpreter:
- call the Victims of Crime Helpline on 1800 819 817
- say that you need an interpreter
- tell them your name, phone number, and the language you speak
- the Victims of Crime Helpline will get the interpreter to call you.
This is a free service.
When the interpreter calls, it may be from a 'private number', 'blocked' or 'no caller id' on mobile phones.
